Tip

Deep breathing before a putt can focus your efforts - but don't just take deep breaths. With each breath, visual the putt - the line - the stroke.  Each breath should be a 5-7 count IN, 5-7 count HOLD, and 5-7 count OUT.  Don't block out what you hear.  Let it flow past you.  Concentrate on the ball and the hole as ONE unified thing, and visual HOW the ball goes in the hole.

Sounds a little too "new agey?" I've always approached golf as "Scottish yoga" without the goofy poses.
